New Prediction

It's weird when you're writing sometimes. You have all these ideas running through your head and can't wait to get them out. And you do...eventually. I have four or five (I lost count) books running around in my head constantly, some are active projects some I haven't even started, sortof. One I've been working on for thirty five years. Focusing on one and only one is sometimes difficult. However, I am closing in on completing Yank. My new prediction is to publish in July.

Of course my last prediction was April, so we'll see how this one goes.

Having grand kids, a garden, projects that need finishing, grass to mow, honey do lists, etc,etc,etc doesn't help in the writing time department. So my predictions can be somewhat fickle. Eventually I get them all done, only to have more projects self propagate. So goes retirement.

As my father used to say "Come Hell or high water." I never asked him about this saying, but I'm sure it's from the south and it means he'll get it done eventually. Probably before Hell freezes over or there's another biblical flood. I'll let you extrapolate your own meaning out of that.
