Over Due
My apologies, I am way over due for this post. However, despite the many distractions that have kept me at bay, here we go.
Since my last post I have been to England and back. Welcomed a new grandson into the world and started training for a 3 hour endurance race next November. My buddy wanted to do it this year, but I told him he was nuts. He didn't disagree, more on that as the year goes on. I'm also preparing for my birthday.
Some things you just have to work up to. Birthdays are one of them when you get older.
Yank has been in the editors hands since August and she assures me it will be available this month. (I don't have a finger crossing emoji available or I would put it here.)
As far as writing goes, I have finished a short story that I have been working on from time to time over the last three years (Kaleb the Conqueror). Started the sequel to Caroline's Secret (Out of Time). Worked on "Aaron and the Stranger" and worked at removing trees from near the house to increase the fire break. When you live in the woods that's important.
Kaleb is an 8 year old boy with an over active imagination. He's also the greatest race car driver in the world:) "Out of Time" is total Sci Fi. "Aaron and the Stranger" is the first book I ever started. Still working on it after 35 years. I'll get there. I also have other projects I'm working on and will update you as soon as there is something to update.
Well, I hope to post sooner next time. Preferably with the news that Yank has been published and you can finally have a complete collection of "The Haggenville Chronicles".
Until next time.
Nathan
