2026 slow start

Well? 2026 didn’t start the way I hoped.

I was hoping to have the manuscript for Yank in editing by now. Still writing.

I hoped to have my new website up and running by now. Still waiting.

However, now that 2026 is here, I’m running on all cylinders. The book is coming along nicely. The website should be up and running by the end of next week along with the mini bike that I am rebuilding. It’s fun to give old things new life. This mini bike was a mid seventies frame rescued from a trash pile. It will live again next week.

Projects for 2026 include, so far, publishing Yank. Publishing an anthology for a private school that I am working with as a creative writing advisor. Publishing another manuscript as a second addition and loving every minute of it.

Hopefully the next time I blog, it will be on the new website. The holdup is, I have two domains. These domains have to give up my domain names to the new site and they’re dragging their collective AI’s.

Tons more to share next time as I am pinched for time right now. But it had been a minute since my last blog and I didn’t want you to feel I had forgotten Y’all.
