Tiz the Season

Merry Christmas everyone.

Tiz the season for many celebratory things. Like finally combining 14 different dog treats on top of the fridge into one bag . And getting ready to host or visit family and reunite over distance and time.

It’s a time to be thankful for what we have and a time to look forward to the new year. While I am thankful for 2025, I am also thankful that it’s over. This was a year of being in great physical pain for me. Which kept me from doing and enjoying a great many things. So I am looking forward to 2026 and a chance to catch up on all the things I couldn’t do in 2025. Like have a garden, run my sawmill or even go for a walk.

But most importantly, for me, it’s the time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It’s how I celebrate the Christmas season and start planning the new year.

To my Jewish friends, Happy Hanukkah.

To everyone out there, whether you’re reading this or not, Merry Christmas and may your New Year be blessed.

Here’s to hoping everyone had a fun and blessed Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving is happening today, only because this is the one day the whole family can get together. Although we are retired, the rest
