Getting things done.

Finally got the garlic in the ground. We were two weeks late, but to quote one of my favorite You Tubers “It’ll be fine”. Next year we should have more garlic than we can shake a Vampire at.

Just a reminder for all of you wonderful subscribers, I will be at Central Valley High School this weekend, Nov. 1 and 2, booth 118. So come on by, get some Christmas shopping done and say Hi.

Quick update, Yank is coming along quite well. So far I have been able to keep my 1500 word per week goal, which should put me into editing around the first of the year. It also looks like I may have another project for 2026. I did a Creative writing workshop for a private school about a year ago. They are interested in having all of their stories put together in an Anthology. For those of you who may not be familiar with what an Anthology is, it’s basically a collection of short stories by a bunch of different people.

So, 2026 holds the promise of Yank, Boxers or Briefs a Book of Shorts vol.2, Republishing of “The Ashes of Castlemont” 2nd edition. An Anthology (yet to be named) of about twenty stories by some very talented young people. And the beginning of “Out of Time” the sequel to “Caroline’s Secret.” Which, by the way, is doing quite well. I’m selling out as fast as I can order more.

Quote of the Day: “If you traveled from earth to our nearest star, 4.2 light years away, how long would it take? (and don’t say 4.2 light years)

Now, if you were to read a book about traveling to our nearest star, how long would it take?”

See you next time.

Deadlines

Deadlines are something you should strive to achieve. And I do. I just haven’t hit one yet when it comes to writing. My goal/deadline for completing my current book manuscript was around January 1st.
